ETEK International Corporation has announced the appointment of Juan Camilo Reyes as the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Latin America. Etek is a Bogotá based multinational IT security-as-a-service provider with a presence in Latin America, North America, and Asia.

With more than 17 years of experience in cybersecurity, Reyes has led businesses for different multinationals in Latin America, performing various technical and commercial functions, leading interdisciplinary teams in business development, sales, marketing and business unit management.

Among his new responsibilities, Juan Camilo will be in charge of searching for new market development opportunities, especially in the areas of sales, marketing and architecture of cybersecurity solutions for Latin America.

“Juan Camilo brings extensive experience in the development of cybersecurity business lines and will greatly assist ETEK clients, focusing on advice aimed at client engagement to address emerging cybersecurity needs,” said Praveen Sengar, CEO of ETEK.

In his last role, Juan Camilo led the growth of IBM’s Cybersecurity services in South America, leading a technical and sales team specialized in Cybersecurity throughout the region.

Reyes has an MBA from the University of Birmingham in Great Britain and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. He is also holds an ISC2 Certified Cyber ​​Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
