German software venter Software AG has has signed a technology license and distribution agreement with Kryon Systems, an Israeli provider of robotic process (RPA) automation.
The deal centers around implementing Kryon Systems’ Leo Platform for RPA with Software AG’s webMethods Dynamic Apps in a way that will “enable automation from desktop to back end systems,” according to the Darmstadt, German-based firm.
The pairing will allow Software AG’s apps to “automate human interactions with applications” in a user-friendly way, says Wolfram Jost, chief technology officer of the company.
Harel Tayeb, CEO of the Tel Aviv-based Kryon Systems, added that the two firms are working toward “the future of the workplace, where robots and humans will interact and operate seamlessly.”
