Johnson, who has worked in mortgage processing innovation for Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Countrywide, will be a leading member of the company’s “agile lending” and “agile mortgages” solutions, both of which will aim to allow lenders to better integrate RPA into their organizations.

The mortgage segment veteran, who has also consulted on digital strategy for Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Xerox, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, says he is excited about working toward innovation that can “transform the lending industry” through new technology.

Johnson says that the brand of “agile” solutions offered by AI Foundry, which was launched by Kodak Alaris in 2015, raises “the table stakes from typical point solutions that conceal all the back office manual labor to fully automated processes that connect the customer to the back office and create seamless transactions.”

In his new role, AI Foundry is looking for Johnson to help lead the roll out of new solutions in 2018, specifically those that can use an RPA approach to improve customer experience by cutting out “laborious” manual processes that currently bog down operations.

“There is no better input than from someone that has lived and breathed RPA and how to make it work within large complicated organizations,” said Sid Probstein, chief technical officer at AI Foundry.
