London-based robotic process automation (RPA) company Symphony Ventures has wasted no time re-investing the funds brought in through a recent $4.5 million financing round from Livingbridge. Already, it has opened up new offices in both Argentina and India, acquired the Mexican firm RPA4Excellence, and launched its Symphony Labs center in London.
Now Symphony Ventures is opening a new consulting center in Dallas. The primary objective of this Texas-based “global consulting hub” will be to help companies determine how automation can provide the greatest benefits to their operations. It will also look to design optimization solutions and act as a delivery center.
The consulting hub will be run by David Rombough, who steps in to the RPA firm as global head of consulting after serving as digital transformation practice leader at the Hackett Group, a consultancy headquartered in Miami. The executive has also worked in partner roles at Accenture and EY.
Among his immediate goals will be building up the consulting hub. Symphony hopes to have at least 30 experts working in Dallas within the next 12 months, the company said in a statement. The quality of the local talent pool in Texas is one of the main reasons that Symphony selected this site.
“As home to several leading universities and top-notch enterprises, Dallas is one of the most vibrant economic markets,” said Rombough. “We are eager to tap into its unique talent pool to build a world-class team of specialists.”
