Indian startup Nouveau Labs is opening up a center of excellence focused on robotic process automation (RPA) that it hopes to grow to employ more than 100 workers within the next year.

The Bangalore-based software and services provider, which already has operations dedicated to artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, and machine learning, will specifically be looking to use the center of excellence to better integrate its analytics and RPA services, something it sees as a growing demand area from its clients.

Satya Tummala, founder and CEO of Nouveau Labs, says that he believes more and more companies are now actively seeking to put the dormant data they have stored to work. The potential is large enough, that Tummala says “we foresee growing to a 100-plus strong team in the next 12 months.”

The goal now for Nouveau Labs will be to start building a team at its RPA center of excellence that can deliver cost savings and increased customer retention for clients in the right key performance areas.

“Enhancing business value through analytics-based insights and positioning the company into the global technology space is exciting for us,” said Tummala.
