Carlos Rodríguez Is Etek’s New Advisory & Consulting Director for LATAM and APAC

Etek International Corporation has announced Carlos Andrés Rodríguez (above) has been appointed Advisory and Consulting Director for the LATAM and APAC regions. Rodriguez is expected to bring extensive experience in client cybersecurity, digital transformation, and management to the regions.

Rodriguez has more than 20 years of experience executing strategic cybersecurity initiatives, transferring knowledge, assessing operations and architectures, closely working with clients. He has created and led cybersecurity business units and digital security services for multiple multinational companies in Central and South America.

“At Etek, I’ll be responsible for leading advisory-led client engagement, helping clients transform into the digital era”, said Rodriguez, who will also lead Etek’s cybersecurity advisory services vision, evangelizing new solutions to address client business challenges, lead a team of highly specialized advisors and consultants and define the roadmap of Etek cybersecurity business insights platform “Etek Insights.”

Rodriguez was the former regional head of the business and solutions unit of Evolution Technologies Group, where he designed and structured the entire business unit operations involving more than 50 people. His business unit became a top leader in terms of offering and sales of the company, opening new business in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Rodriguez has a postgraduate degree in Information Technology Management from the Colombian School of Business Administration (EAN), and he holds the CISSP and CISM certifications.

Rodriguez is also a teacher, speaker, and member of some of the most recognized cybersecurity associations such as ISC2 and ISACA.
