Automation Anywhere Launches ‘Bot Store’ RPA Marketplace

Robotic process automation (RPA) provider Automation Anywhere has launched its Bot Store, an online marketplace for bot software.

While the digital store is based around bots developed by the London-based Automation Anywhere, it also includes others from partners including EY and Genpact. All of the bots, however, run on the company’s “Automation Anywhere Enterprise” platform.

The available bots, categorized as “plug-and-play” alternatives to complete mundane tasks by Automation Anywhere, serve dozens of applications, including speech-to-text capability for IBM Watson, PDF comparisons through Adobe Acrobat, and electronic payment processing using SWIFT.

Other bots tackle processes including order fulfillment, mortgage processing, logistics management, compliance auditing, and customer churn prediction.

Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder of Automation Anywhere, said the objective is to give users access to “scale their digital workforce” that can help “shrink deployment times” and “reduce operational costs.”
