Vodafone Expands Its Egyptian Center of Excellence for CX, AI, Robotics, IoT

Telecommunications company Vodafone has inaugurated two new buildings for its Egypt-based Vodafone Intelligent Solutions Shared Services center. Vodafone has 8,000 employees across 6 locations in Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt, and these new buildings serve as its shared services headquarters. They built and opened the new headquarters in 10 months, and they count on modern facilities such as an on-site fitness facility and day care for young children of employees.

The shared services center has a large contingent of German speaking Egyptians, and also support operations in Spain, South Africa, the UK, Italy, Ireland & Greece in customer care, enterprise technology, corporate functions and Internet of Things.

Vodafone Group considers Egypt its Center of Excellence for application development, robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence. The telecom also has centers of excellence in Romania and Hungary.
