UiPath Event in Washington Examines RPA Applications for the Public Sector

Robotic process automation software provider UiPath is hosting an industry event tomorrow in Washington that is expected to feature more than 450 attendees, according to the company.

The event will divert from many other similar gatherings among companies in the software automation space by focusing on public sector opportunities and applications. Government officials will be among the speakers, including people from the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army, Department of the Treasury, and the U.S. Postal Service.

They are expected to explore the ways in which robotic process automation is being embraced in the public sector due to its ability to raise efficiency and improve service delivery.

The event, called UiPath Together, is the first to fall under this branded campaign and will take place from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Washington.

“RPA is a game-changing tool for the public sector,” said Jonathan Padgett, vice president of U.S. public sector at UiPath.

Padgett added that the event is aiming to help the automation community “learn from the lessons of others who have successfully implemented our technology” and “create a dialogue that will inspire and benefit RPA users and, ultimately, society as a whole.”
