UiPath Brings RPA Event to Mumbai to Showcase Importance of Indian Market

Robotic process automation (RPA) software provider UiPath held the fourth edition of its automation event in Mumbai, bringing together clients and industry experts for the first time in India.

Daniel Dines, founder and CEO of UiPath, said the location was chosen to highlight the country’s importance to his company, which is pushing to sell its RPA solutions to more Indian organizations. UiPath currently employs nearly 200 people in the nation and plan to increase that by 50% before the end of the year.

According to Dines, financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications have been the early-adopting sectors of RPA in India thus far.

“We stand strong in our commitment to the India market as we have found an immense talent pool in the country, which we are constantly investing in,” said Dines.

Called UiPath Together, this latest version of its event followers earlier editions in Washington, Paris, and New York. Among those in attendance were RPA industry experts and veterans from KPMG, KY, Prudential, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Edelweiss Finance.
