London-Based RPA Provider Thoughtonomy Hires Ben Case as Director of Solutions

Thoughtonomy, a London-based provider of robotic process automation, has hired Ben Case as its new director of solutions. He will be based in Austin, Texas, and tasked with growing the company’s “intelligent automation” platform in what is a new position for the company.

Case, who has experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, joins Thoughtonomy from automation vendor IPsoft, where he worked as director of cognitive solutions.

His outlook on the space calls for an evolution beyond the initial automation offerings to incorporate more advanced technology. ”RPA as we know it today has reached a key inflection point,” said Case. “Leaders will be defined by those willing to push beyond the space of traditional robotics and embrace the tremendous potentials that lie within intelligent and cognitive systems as the force multiplier to basic RPA. I’m thrilled … to be a part of a continued journey to innovate and deliver on the true promise of these technologies.”

Thoughtonomy, which characterizes its core offering as an a software-as-a-service virtual workforce automation platform, has 150 clients in 27 countries, according to the company. It has recently reported growth of of 40%, quarter-over-quarter, and an annual growth rate of some 300% in the past two years. The firm was founded in 2013.
