Symphony Ventures Acquires Mexican RPA Consultancy RPA4Excellence

Global automation services provider Symphony Ventures has acquired RPA4Excellence, a Mexico City-based robotic process automation (RPA) consultancy. The move comes just weeks after the London-headquartered company opened its first Latin American office in Buenos Aires, highlighting the concerted push by Symphony Ventures to expand in the region.

Arnold Schiemann and Jaume Sues, the leadership team at RPA4Excellence, will stay on and become vice presidents reporting to Symphony Ventures’ Latin American CEO Felix Massun, who sees adding Spanish-speaking RPA experts as critical to further growth in the region.

The acquisition builds on a prior relationship that the two companies began developing when RPA4Excellence enrolled in Symphony Ventures’ “Partner Orchestration Model.” In part due that experience, the Mexican firm now works with clients in various industries, including financial services, retail, telecommunications, and business process outsourcing (BPO).

“The RPA4Excellence team brings strong relationships with leading client brands in Latin America, as well as expert insights into the opportunities for RPA in the region,” said Massun. “Both Schiemann and Sues will be invaluable resources as we expand our presence in Latin America.”

Massun is bullish on the “tremendous potential” for RPA implementation in Latin America. In particular, Symphony Ventures sees opportunity in sectors that face stringent regulations and complex taxation schemes.

“We’re very excited about this expansion of our capabilities in Latin America,” said Ian Barkin, chief strategy officer of Symphony Ventures. “With the acquisition of RPA4Excellence, we are better equipped to serve our client network and many more amazing enterprises in this region.”
