Leading RPA Industry Firms Automation Anywhere and Symphony Ventures Form Partnership

Robotic process automation (RPA) provider Automation Anywhere and implementation specialist Symphony Ventures have formed a partnership that will aim to bring the firm’s technology to more enterprises.

In the arrangement, Symphony will help customers with their RPA implementation strategy and also act as a sales agent for Automation Anywhere licenses.

The news comes just over a month after Automation Anywhere raised $250 million USD in a series A funding round that was led led by New Enterprise Associates and Goldman Sachs Growth Equity. General Atlantic and World Innovation Lab also participated in the financing round.

Both companies expressed their excitement about the new partnership agreement.

“Symphony has long supported clients using Automation Anywhere,” says David Poole, co-founder and CEO of Symphony Ventures, adding that “we are very excited to formalize our relationship with Automation Anywhere.”

Speaking to the magnitude of the deal, Phil Fersht, CEO and chief analyst at HFS Research, called this partnership “a significant milestone in the development of both firms and a bellwether moment in the maturing RPA industry.”
